not-for-profit, tax exempt corporation organized under section
501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue code and is supported entirely by tax deductible
donations.

a volunteer organization, all
members are required to supply
their own equipment with
expenses sometimes, but rarely
exceeding 500.00 a year. Unit equipment required at searches, such as pagers, radios and technical gear is provided by
Commonwealth Search and Rescue and paid for by public donations |

"PSAR"
"PSAR" is a preventative search and rescue education
